Sessions include brief guidance on relevant anatomy and commonly encountered pathology. The primary focus is on developing practical scanning skills and building confidence in performing the scan yourself.

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub does not provide accredited courses, formal qualifications, certifications, or academic credit. One-on-one tutoring sessions are designed to complement your existing studies and focus on practical hands-on scanning skills.

Sessions are approximately 50-minutes in duration to allow time for preparation, equipment setup, and room sanitisation between appointments. Ultrasound models are booked specifically for your session and are reserved for a full one-hour slot.

If you complete your selected scan before the end of the session, we can use the remaining time to reinforce your scanning technique, revisit challenging concepts, answer questions, or move on to another scanning protocol where appropriate.

Participants must be at least 10 years old. Participants aged 10–15 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Yes. Participants will have the opportunity to perform most of the scan themselves under guidance and learn how ultrasound is used to identify major abdominal organs.

Absolutely. One friend, partner or legal guardian may attend as an observer.

Yes. You will receive an email containing the ultrasound images captured during your session and a fun Anatomy Adventure participation certificate.
