Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Ultrasound Tutoring Hub website and the services provided by Ultrasound Tutoring Hub (“we”, “our”, “us”).

By accessing this website, booking a service, attending a session, or otherwise engaging with Ultrasound Tutoring Hub, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Educational Services Only

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub provides educational and training services only.

Services are designed to assist ultrasound learners and healthcare professionals in developing practical ultrasound scanning skills and anatomical knowledge in a supportive educational environment. All services are educational in nature and are provided on a non-qualification basis.

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub does not provide medical consultations, medical advice, diagnostic services, treatment recommendations, or clinical reports.

Nothing provided during a session should be interpreted as medical advice or relied upon for healthcare decision-making.

3. No Educational Accreditation or Qualification

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub provides private educational tutoring and training services only.

Participation in any session, course, tutorial, workshop, or educational activity conducted by Ultrasound Tutoring Hub does not result in:

A nationally recognised qualification;
A formal educational award;
A professional certification;
Academic credit;
Registration eligibility;
Accreditation by any educational institution, professional body, or regulatory authority.

Participants are responsible for confirming any educational, professional, registration, or accreditation requirements applicable to their own circumstances.

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub does not represent that participation in its services will satisfy any formal training, accreditation, registration, or continuing professional development requirements

4. Non-Diagnostic Services

All services provided by Ultrasound Tutoring Hub are strictly non-diagnostic.

Participants acknowledge and agree that:

Sessions are educational in nature;
No diagnosis will be provided;
No medical opinion will be given;
No treatment recommendations will be made;

If a participant has concerns regarding their health, they should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

5. Services Offered

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub may provide services including:

Private ultrasound tutoring for students;
Private ultrasound training for qualified healthcare professionals;
Interactive Anatomy Adventure educational experiences;
Educational tutorials and learning resources;
Other educational services advertised on our website from time to time.

Service descriptions, pricing, and availability may change without notice.

6. Interactive Anatomy Adventure

The Anatomy Adventure experience is provided solely for abdomen anatomy educational purposes.

Participants acknowledge that:

The experience is not a health assessment;
The experience is not intended to identify, investigate, or diagnose medical conditions;
Participants do not perform scans on themselves;
Ultrasound scanning is performed using pre-screened models only;
No medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment will be provided;
Participation in the Anatomy Adventure experience does not provide any qualification, certification, accreditation, competency assessment, or authorisation to perform ultrasound examinations;
Participation in the Anatomy Adventure experience should not be interpreted as training to become an ultrasound practitioner or healthcare professional.

The Anatomy Adventure experience is intended to provide a general educational insight into ultrasound technology and human anatomy only.

7. Eligibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet any eligibility requirements applicable to the service they book.

Specific eligibility requirements may apply to certain services.

Anatomy Adventure

The Anatomy Adventure experience is available to participants aged 10 years and over.

Participants aged 10 to 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the session.

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where age requirements are not met.

8. Attendance and Additional Persons

Attendance at sessions is limited to the booked participant, the Ultrasound Tutoring Hub instructor, and any ultrasound model arranged by Ultrasound Tutoring Hub.

Students and professionals must not bring additional individuals to attend, observe, or participate in a session unless prior approval has been obtained from Ultrasound Tutoring Hub.

For Anatomy Adventure bookings, one companion may attend the session. Participants aged 10 to 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the session.

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub reserves the right to refuse entry to any additional person who has not received prior approval.

9. Booking and Payment

A deposit of $30 is required at the time of booking request.

Bookings are subject to model availability and are not confirmed until a confirmation has been issued by Ultrasound Tutoring Hub.

Full payment of the remaining balance will be invoiced upon confirmation.

In the event a booking cannot be confirmed due to model unavailability, the deposit will be refunded in full.

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub reserves the right to refuse, reschedule, or cancel bookings where reasonably necessary.

10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Deposits are refundable for cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows will forfeit the deposit to cover the cost of ultrasound model hire.

Refunds may take several business days to appear depending on the participant’s financial institution.

Requests for rescheduling are subject to availability.

11. Late Arrival

Participants are encouraged to arrive on time.

Late arrival may reduce the available session time.

Sessions will generally conclude at the scheduled finish time regardless of arrival time.

12. Model Availability

In-person tutoring services rely upon the availability of contracted ultrasound models.

In the event that a model becomes unavailable due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, Ultrasound Tutoring Hub reserves the right to:

Reschedule the session; or
Issue a refund where a suitable alternative cannot be arranged.

13. Participant Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully toward Ultrasound Tutoring Hub staff, contractors, models, and any other individuals present during a session.

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub reserves the right to terminate a session without refund where behaviour is inappropriate, unsafe, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise unacceptable.

14. Photography, Video Recording and Recording Devices

Photography, video recording, screen recording, audio recording, or other forms of recording are not permitted without prior written consent from Ultrasound Tutoring Hub and any affected individuals.

Participants must respect the privacy and dignity of models and other participants at all times.

15. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and all educational materials provided by Ultrasound Tutoring Hub, including but not limited to:

Text;
Images;
Videos;
Graphics;
Logos;
Educational resources;
Training materials.

remain the property of Ultrasound Tutoring Hub.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, sold, published, or used for commercial purposes.

16. Website Content

Information provided on this website is supplied in good faith and for general informational purposes only.

While reasonable efforts are made to ensure information is accurate and current, Ultrasound Tutoring Hub makes no guarantee regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any information published on this website.

17. Limitation of Liability

Ultrasound Tutoring Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or economic loss arising from:

Participation in a session;
Reliance on information provided during a session;
Cancellation, rescheduling, or interruption of services.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
